Many of the film’s original stars will return for the sequel, including Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Dame Julie Walters. Lily James and Amanda Seyfried will also be a part of the cast.

“Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!” is currently being filmed in the U.K. and in Croatia. The film will use Abba songs not featured in the 2008 movie and stars James as a younger version of Streep’s character, Donna.

The sequel hits theatres on July 20 in celebration of the film’s 10th anniversary.

Cher’s last film appearance was 2010’s “Burlesque”. She won an Oscar in 1988 for “Moonstruck”.
