Things are not going well for Johnny Depp down undah.
After battling with Australian Agricultural Minister over the alleged illegal smuggling of his dogs – Pistol and Boo – into the country, the media there is reporting the actor has now “stormed off”; the set.
Filming “Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”; in Queensland since February, the actor injured his hand in March, which delayed shooting for a month while he jettisoned back to the States for treatment.
With some reports saying it’s relationship troubles that have the actor off set once again, the film’s publicist, Michael King, has denied that it was Depp who interrupted the schedule, telling the Brisbane Times, “I can’t go into detail on our filming schedules or the movements of individuals but I can tell you that nothing in that reports has any relation to reality.”;
“Mr. Depp has been filming on schedule,”; he continued. “It’s business as usual, with all participants working.”;
The fifth installment of the Disney franchise sees Captain Jack Sparrow finds himself facing off against his old – not to mention dead – pirate nemesis, Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) when the deadly ghost pirates escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea.
Joining Depp and Bardem is “Skins”; star Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites and Geoffrey Rush, reprising his role as Captain Barbosa. The film is set to hit theatres July 7, 2016.
