Katy Perry’s Witness World Tour is currently underway, and the “Roar” singer’s show in Nashville didn’t exactly go off without a hitch when a prop malfunctioned with Perry atop it.
To make matters even more awkward, the prop was suspended from the ceiling of the Bridgestone Arena in Music City when the miniature replica of the planet Saturn upon which she sat suddenly halted, reports Billboard, leaving her dangling high above the audience.
“This is the first time I’ve been stuck in space! I know I’m kind of a space cadet, but actually, this thing is being stuck right now,” said Perry to the crowd.

“They’re talking to me in my ear, it’s a whole big deal,” she added, apparently hearing instructions through her monitor earpiece. “You better pick your phone up, ‘cause this is a YouTube moment!
Finally, the prop descended and allowed Perry to come down to earth. “I guess I’m just gonna have to get down and walk amongst my people,” she said, jumping into the crowd and before being escorted back to the stage.
