Jason Aldean Releases ‘SNL’ Performace Of ‘I Won’t Back Down’ For Charity

Jason Aldean will be releasing his critically acclaimed performance of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” on “Saturday Night Live” as a single for charity.

The song was made available to purchase on Friday morning. Aldean’s rep says all proceeds will go to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting through the Direct Impact Fund.

Aldean was performing at the Route 91 music festival when a gunman open fired at the concert goers, killing 58 people.

Five days after the horrific events in Las Vegas the country crooner paid a touching tribute on “SNL” to the victims as well as the late rocker, Petty, who died of cardiac arrest only days after the shooting.
