Caitriona Balfe And Sam Heughan Hilariously Read ‘Outlander’ Fan Fiction

As viewers of “Outlander” patiently wait for Jamie and Claire to cross the centuries for their eventual reunion, one of the show’s fans has clearly run out of patience, and has gone ahead and written his own fan-fiction version of what will happen when these two finally meet again.

The erotic tale from a fan who calls himself Bonnie-Wee-Swordsman receives a dramatic reading from Claire and Jamie themselves, as Sam Heughan provides the narration while Caitriona Balfe regales us with sound effects, everything from gusts of wind to the clopping of horses’ hooves

The story — titled “A Hundred Lesser Faces” — imagines what would have occurred in the Outlander novel Voyager had Claire “gone first to Lallybroch instead of directly to the print shop in Edinburgh.”

Things get pretty dramatic (and, thanks to Balfe’s hilarious sound effects, pretty silly) in the hilarious video (courtesy of Harper’s Bazaar), which can be viewed above.

Meanwhile, you can catch the couple’s actual reunion in this week’s “sextended sexisode”of “Outlander”, airing Sunday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on W Network.
