‘The Rock’ Breaks Selfie World Record

The queen of the selfies — also known as Kim Kardashian — has been de-throned by a rock. True story: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has broken a Guinness World record thanks to his phone and that cheesy grin!

During the premiere of Johnson’s action-packed flick “San Andreas” in London the star snapped a total of 105 pics – that’s a lot of selfish photography in one day even by “The Rock”;”s standards.

The star, of course, took to his Instagram to thank fans who took part in the selfie challenge and dub himself the #NewSelfieKing…

We just set a NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for most self portraits (selfies) taken in record time (yup, a selfie world record exists and your arm gets a helluva workout). Guinness World Records are a serious business so an adjudicator had to be on hand to make sure all the “selfie rules were followed”. According to the ref, the full face and neck of selfie participants have to be seen in the pic and the shot has to be clear – no blur allowed.

Now he has a world record title and a new workout!
