SPOILER ALERT!  If you still haven’t watched tonight’s blockbuster “Big Brother Canada’ finale (or live on the West Coast, where the episode hasn’t aired yet), then STOP READING. There WILL be SPOILERS.

For real: MASSIVE SEASON FINALE SPOILERS.

OK, then let’s talk finale.

First things first: the final three — Ashleigh, Sarah and Godfrey — must first compete for the season’s most important (and scariest) HOH challenge, with the winner guaranteed a spot in the final two.

In the first part of the three-part competition, they found themselves competing in a downright evil challenge called “The End of Time,”; hauling buckets of sand up a flight of stairs and pouring it back into the massive container from which it’s leaking. Oh, and there are also flames, explosions and even a simulated earthquake — downright dastardly of you, Big Brother!

Godfrey won the first round, which left Ashleigh and Sarah to compete in part two: “The Final Friend Gear,”; testing their knowledge of what took place in the house, which was trickier than you’d think. Ashleigh emerged triumphant,

“I just blew it hard, big time,”; said a tearful Sarah after being creamed by Ashleigh (who solved the challenge in 4 minutes, compared to Sarah’s 20-plus minutes). “Mostly I am disappointed in myself that I sucked so bad at this.”;

But Sarah had a “hail Mary”; trick up her sleeve: she let Ashleigh know that she would NOT give Ashleigh her jury vote if she didn’t take her to the final two.

And the final challenge: Godfrey vs. Ashleigh in a trivia contest about how well they know about the members of the jury, with HOH hanging in the balance. This time, Godrey emerged triumphant.

As HOH, Godfrey evicted Ashleigh, bringing Sarah with him to the final two.

But the real test was still to come: the jury, who had some tough questions for the remaining houseguests.

“I used my strength and my weaknesses here”; said Sarah, apologizing to everyone who had a target on their backs because of her. “I’m so sorry, but I did what I had to do… I know I was annoying but I came here to play the game.”;

“Coming into this game, I quickly found myself on the outside,”; said Godfrey in his speech to the jury, admitting he felt like an “outcast”; at first. “I played this game with one goal: do not get blood on your hands, do not burn bridges, because at the end of the day it’s a social game.”;

But there was still one big bombshell to come. “Ten is an unusually large number for a jury,”; said Arisa, revealing that “one of you will be evicted from the jury,”; with that person’s vote not counted. As it turns out, the jury evictee was decided in secret by the final three in an exceptionally heated debate. When the dust cleared, they decided to evict Jordan (whose vote was for Sarah!)

When the jury’s votes were counted, the third winner of Big Brother Canada was revealed to be…

Sarah Hanlon! Canada’s favourite “hemployee”; is the winner of $100,000, a $25,000 gift card at The Brick and a $10,000 Twistos vacation of a lifetime.

“I just see my family there and I did it for you guys,”; said teary-eyed Sarah. “I honestly am just shocked, and I never thought ever that I would ever do this. I can’t believe it! It’s a dream come true! I love you Canada!”;

And that’s a wrap for Big Brother Canada season three, but you won’t have to wait long for more Big Brother; Julie Chen and the U.S. version return to Global on June 24.
