Fresh off the release of their latest album, Cageless, the guys from Hedley are back with the video for the LP’s second single, “Better Days”.
Set in a moody, neon-tinged laundromat, the video, says frontman Jacob Hoggard, is as straightforward as it gets.
“The premise of the video,” he tells ET Canada, “is us entering into people’s lives and making a modest, very subtle, passive attempt at making people’s days better.”
For the band, the process of making a music video is still just as important as making the music.
“I think we all grew up in the days when watching videos was super important and I still think they’re literal, little snapshots of time,” says lead guitarist Dave Rosin. “I think we always have a good time shooting videos and then there are those shoots where, once it’s edited, and you get to see it in its finished form, you look at it and you’re like, ‘That was a really great time.'”
Hedley is also gearing up for a cross-Canada tour in support of Cageless. Watch the video below for more details!
