UPDATE (Thursday, May 28, 1:01 p.m. ET): A shocking new promo implying a pair of male Bachelorette contestants may be more interested in each other than Bachelorette Kaitlynn, even using the tagline “Brokeback Bachelors,”; appears to a salacious bit of promotion that’s not backed up by reality.
According to TMZ, both Clint and JJ are “straight as arrows”; and sources say the promo’s implications of a gay relationship are completely bogus.
In fact, an insider reportedly tells TMZ that “nothing gay ever happened”; between the two men — not even in the shower, adding that both men are in on the “Brokeback”; gimmick and “just think it’s funny.”;
The men are reportedly loving the attention it’s brought them on social media, where they “think of funny things to write back to people on Twitter.”;

For years, critics of The Bachelor have asked why we have yet to see a gay edition of the reality romance show, when a gay Bachelor will be wooed by a bevy of homosexual hunks.
If this new promo for next week’s Bachelorette is any indication, however, this may be one step closer to actually happening.
In the promo, Clint Arliss and JJ Lane (who didn’t exactly make a fan of Amy Schumer in this week’s episode) discuss their unusually tight relationship, while their fellow contestants, eyebrows raised, wonder if there’s more to this “bromance”; than meets the eye.
“It’s absolutely insane. I never thought that I’d meet somebody like that,” says Clint. “Falling in love with a man never crossed my mind.”
In fact, Clint admits to being “100 per cent”; in love with JJ, revealing the two have “grown very close to each other in the shower,”; and has realized that Kaitlyn is not the right girl for him.
“I love JJ,”; says Clint, “so I need the rose tonight.”;
A budding romance between two men — or some tantalizing misdirection from the ABC promo department? That should be settled in next week’s edition of The Bachelorette.
