It was at midnight on Thursday that Taylor Swift released her new sci-fi video for “…Ready for It”, and not long after that fans took to social media to remark on the flesh-coloured, cyborg-like bodysuit she wears in the video.
What they wondered was whether the bodysuit was Swift’s subtle way of sending a diss toward Kanye West, with whom she’s been publicly feuding ever since he leapt onstage during the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards and interrupted her acceptance speech.

In fact, a number of fans took to Twitter to share their theories on the anti-Kanye meaning behind Swift’s attire in the “…Ready for It” video, her answer to the naked mannequin of her that appeared in West’s notorious “Famous” video.
As the speculation reached a fever pitch, Swift herself decided to respond on Instagram Stories, sharing some screenshots from the video. “It truly warms my heart that [people] had so much to say about this bodysuit,” she wrote in one of the captions, reports Just Jared.
