Fox News Contributor Tomi Lahren Gets Lambasted Online For Wearing U.S. Flag As A Halloween Costume

People on social media don’t think Tomi Lahren’s Halloween costume is all that patriotic.

Lahren, 25, has been a vocal detractor of NFL players kneeling during the national anthem, but now she is getting heat for disrespecting the U.S. flag.

The right-wing pundit posted an Instagram picture of her outfit on Sunday, rocking a “Make America Great Again” one-piece and Star-Spangled Banner stylized wings.

And boy, did she indeed offend. Thousands of users commented on the photo, pointing out the Fox News contributor’s so-called hypocrisy.

Users online argued Lahren was disrespecting the American flag, citing part of the U.S. code. “No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform,” reads a clause regarding “Respect for flag”.

Lahren, a member of the pro-Donald Trump Great American Alliance, has garnered significant media attention over her anti-athlete stance regarding NFL players’ protests.
