Judy Haim On Corey Feldman: ‘I’m Not Buying That He Needs $10 Million’

Judy Haim, the mother of the late Corey Haim, is speaking out on Corey Feldman’s campaign to fund a $10 million movie project, which he says will expose child abuse in the film industry.

Speaking with ET Canada exclusively, the mother of “The Lost Boys” star questions the actions of her late son’s friend and former co-star, who has since raised $160,000 to fund his Indiegogo campaign, which he says will support his factual film about the industry’s alleged pedophile ring.

“I’m not buying it,” Haim says. “I’m not buying that he needs $10 million to do a movie to name names he [has] talked about.” She continues, “Well, you know what? The door opened up in Hollywood right now with Harvey Weinstein. Now, it’s a good time.”

In a recent interview with The Hollywood ReporterHaim calls Feldman “a scam artist” to which the actor replied with a string of tweets, claiming that she “vehemently protects evil.” In response, Haim says, “I looked at it and said, ‘Who’s protecting evil? Is it me or him for all these years?'”

Addressing Feldman, who claims to know six pedophiles currently working in the industry, she says, “I feel very bad for his upbringing. I feel bad he had to go through this. I feel bad my kid had to experience this one-time horrifying thing. I feel bad for every victim.”

Haim adds, “I do believe he got abused, but stop talking about it. You don’t need money. I am going to be behind you if you absolutely go and reveal these names. If you wait another two years, a lot more people are going to be abused.”
