Almost a decade after his death, Micheal Jackson is still King.
The King of Pop tops Forbes Magazine‘s “Top-Earning Dead Celebrities of 2017” list. This is Jackson’s fifth-year in-a-row at number one with $75 million.
According to Forbes, his earnings come from his new greatest hits album, the Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil show “This Is It” and his ongoing stake in the EMI music publishing catalogue.
Golf legend Arnold Palmer comes in second at $40 million and “Peanuts” creator Charles Shulz ranks at a close third with $38 million.
Shulz is followed by two other music icons, Elvis Presley at number four with $35 million, followed by Bob Marley at $23 million.
