The Regrettes Lead Singer Lydia Night Attacked On Stage By Woman In Costume

Lydia Night, lead singer of The Regrettes, was attacked by a costumed woman in the middle of a performance over the weekend.

The band were playing at the Growlers Six festival in Los Angeles on Sunday when the assailant ran up onto the stage and shoved Night down onto the ground before being stopped by another band member and security.

Billboard reports that according to fan in the audience, the attacker also fought with members of the crowd and security before managing to get on the stage.

Night responded to the incident on Monday in a post on Instagram, saying, “The stage should always feel like a safe space for self expression and art.”
