Dustin Diamond has been found guilty of stabbing a man during a barroom brawl on Christmas Day, and was convicted on Friday in a Wisconsin courtroom.
As reported by Associated Press, the former Saved By the Bell star was convicted on two misdemeanour counts stemming from the incident in which he allegedly stabbed another bar patron last year.
The jury revealed its verdict just hours after the testimony of Diamond, who pled not guilty.
The actor was found not guilty of a felony charge of recklessly endangering public safety, but was found guilty of two misdemeanour charges: carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. He faces a maximum sentence of nine months in prison for the first conviction, and a maximum 90-day sentence for the second.
Diamond’s girlfriend, Amanda Schutz, was convicted of disorderly conduct, and faces a maximum of 90 days in the slammer.
Diamond offered no comment to reporters as he exited the courtroom.
A sentencing date for Diamond and Schutz has yet to be determined.
