Sara Gilbert and her cohorts on “The Talk” were chatting with the cast of “Young Sheldon” during Wednesday’s edition of the daytime talk show when the segment was crashed by Gilbert’s other TV family courtesy of some members of the “Roseanne” cast.

Production is currently underway on the highly anticipated revival of “Roseanne”, with Gilbert reprising her role as Darlene Conner, and she and her fellow “Talk” co-hosts found themselves joined by Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf and Lecy Goranson.

“I actually heard that we’ve got some fans that are here to crash your interview,” revealed Gilbert during the segment, just before the “Roseanne” cast ran onto set to share hugs and take selfies with the “Young Sheldon” cast.

While there’s definitely a connection between “Roseanne” and “The Talk” courtesy of Gilbert, “Roseanne” also has a connection to “Young Sheldon”: star Zoe Perry, who plays the mother of Sheldon Cooper, is the daughter of “Roseanne” star Laurie Metcalf — who likewise plays the mother of Sheldon Cooper (albeit the grown-up version) on “The Big Bang Theory”.

“She [Perry] was on the set growing up our whole lives,” remarked Gilbert of Perry, who responded: “You [Gilbert] would let me piggyback on your back when you’d come out for the curtain calls.”

Perry also talked about her mother watching her play Mary Cooper on the new spinoff. “It’s been such a pleasure to get to do this with her around me and with me,” she said.
“She is so supportive. It’s really nice to share this.”

“The Talk” airs weekdays at 2 p.m. ET/PT on Global.
