Both Carlos Correa and his girlfriend, Daniella Rodriguez, walked home with rings Wednesday night.
First, Correa and the Houston Astros won the MLB World Series, earning Correa a championship ring. Then, in celebration, the shortstop pulled out a giant engagement ring and proposed to his beauty queen girlfriend on live TV.
“Daniella Rodriguez, you make me the happiest man in the world,” he said while kneeling. “Will you marry me?”
Rodriguez couldn’t contain her excitement as she jumped over the crowd barrier, and said yes.
Rodriquez showed off her new bling on Instagram Stories, writing, “I said yes!”
