For the young cast of “Stranger Things”, being on such a phenomenal show has been life-changing, which makes it all the more sweet to go back and watch the auditions that got them their roles in the first place.

On Netflix’s “Stranger Things” after-show, “Beyond Stranger Things”, stars Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard got to take a trip down memory lane with their own audition tapes, and those of the other kids on the show: Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo.

The young actors can all be seen introducing themselves—including Wolfhard, who mentions in his video that he’s sick—then reading scenes from the show.

“Look how depressed I look,” Brown says, watching herself crying for her audition. “You look like Susan Sarandon,” Wolfhard adds.
