Fetty Wap has been hit with 15 charges after being caught drag racing early Friday morning.
According to a New York Police Department spokesperson, the rapper was found drag racing on the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn, New York, at around 1:21 a.m.
“[He was] in the vicinity of Hamilton Avenue driving recklessly at a high rate of speed causing a dangerous condition while racing another vehicle within the confines of the 72 precinct,” the NYPD rep claims.

As People reports, the 26-year-old rapper is facing a long list of charges including “reckless endangerment, illegal speed, DWI, reckless driving, and aggravated unlicensed operation vehicle.”
Fetty was pulled over by police after being clocked driving at least 50 m.p.h. over the posted speed limit (50 m.p.h.), reports TMZ. The star also failed to pass a sobriety test and presented officers with an expired driver’s licence.

Over on Instagram, the star was spotted hanging out with friends at an Exxon Mobil gas station late Thursday evening.

Earlier this year, Fetty Wap was allegedly involved in a shooting at a New Jersey deli, which left three people with non-life-threatening injuries. Fetty escaped without injuries; another man in connection with the crime was later arrested.
The “Trap Queen” singer is expected to be processed and released Friday morning.
