For parents, there’s nothing more awkward than having your children walk into the bedroom while you’re in the midst of lovemaking, and it’s something that Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard have experienced firsthand.
The “Good Place” star made the revelation on Friday’s edition of “The Talk” when asked to divulge her most embarrassing family moment.
“Oh, they’ve walked in on us having sex,” she blurted out.
When the show’s hosts gasped, Bell downplayed it. “That’s how they were made, it’s OK!” she explained.
However, Julie Chen wanted to know how she and Shepard reacted to the unanticipated interruption from daughters Delta, who’ll turn 3 next month, and Lincoln, who’s 4.
“Well, we didn’t, like, continue,” quipped Bell, “we sort of just went like, ‘Hey, what’s up? What do you need? What do you need?’… And then we just said, ‘Mommy and daddy are just going to take a nap for a couple of minutes.’”
