Larry David returned to Rockefeller Center’s Studio 8H on Saturday to host “Saturday Night Live” in the show’s return after a brief hiatus.

With plenty of Trump news on which to goof, this week’s cold open featured Alec Baldwin’s commander in chief visiting former campaign staffer Paul Manafort (Alex Moffat), currently placed on house arrest after facing charges from Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s collusion with Russia.

In the sketch, Trump insists on taking a shower with Manafort, to ensure he’s not wearing a wire.

In his opening monologue, David referenced the Harvey Weinstein scandal and made a joke about Nazi concentration camps that many viewers found to be in poor taste.

Musical guest Miley Cyrus appeared in a sketch about a celebrity edition of “The Price Is Right”, with David as Bernie Sanders, Alec Baldwin as Tony Bennett and Cyrus playing a non-celebrity contestant paired with “Thor: Ragnarok” star Chris Hemsworth (Alex Moffat again), which led to a special surprise cameo from Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus’s real-life sweetie.

David returned to play an advertising exec receiving a lifetime achievement award, but things get a little awkward when retrospective clips from one of his earlier campaigns feature some politically incorrect slogans.

This week’s edition of “Weekend Update” featured a killer bit from Leslie Jones about her newfound love of baseball, along with a return appearance from the Trump brothers (Alex Moffat and Mikey Day).

Larry David joined Kyle Mooney for the latest edition of this faux sitcom, making for a sketch that was both hilarious and ultra-weird.

Cecily Strong plays the trophy wife to Larry David’s character in this sketch that saw David get the giggles midway through, cracking up hilariously as he attempted to use hip “gay-friendly” lingo.

In “Fresh Takes”, David plays a teacher with boundary issues who appears as a guest on a high school news show staffed by students.

David also featured in this digital short about spoof rap video in which the cast dressed up as babies — and which the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star wanted no part of.

Tune in next week for a new episode of “Saturday Night Live”, featuring “Girls Trip” star Tiffany Haddish making her hosting debut and Taylor Swift serving as musical guest, airing Saturday, Nov. 11 at 8:30 p.m. PT/11:30 p.m. ET on Global.
