Paris Hilton Donates Money To Rebuild Homes In Earthquake Ravaged Mexico City

Paris Hilton is giving back to those in need after the devastating earthquake that recently hit Mexico City.

The 36-year-old visited San Gregorio, Xochimilco, where she handed out blankets, pillows, shoes, clothes, food and toys to the families who lost everything in September.

Hilton also made a donation of an undisclosed amount to help rebuild seven different homes that were affected.

The star shared pictures of her trip to Instagram, “Yesterday I visited the earthquake victims in #Xochimilco #Mexico.”

“It broke my heart to see all these children and their families who lost their homes,” she continued. “I’m so grateful to have met with @SaveTheChildren to make a donation to build them new homes. It’s so important to help make a difference in the lives of those in need.”

According to the Daily Mail, when Hilton arrived she addressed the crowd, “I’m sorry for what happened on that horrible Sept. 19, the day of the earthquake,” she said. “My heart is with all of you and I want you to know that I think of you, I love you and that is why I came to support you today.”
