Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are finally married, and now he’s telling the story of how they first met.

Appearing on “The Late Late Show”, host James Corden congratulated the 38-year-old “Justice League” actor on getting married earlier this year after 12 years and two kids together with Bonet.

“Finally,” Momoa said. He then told the story of having a crush on the 49-year-old “A Different World” actress since he was a kid.

“Ever since I was eight years old and I saw her on TV,” Momoa said, “I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one!’ I’m like, ‘I’m going to stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m going to get you. I am a full-fledged stalker.’ I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies; otherwise, I’d be creepy and weird. I’ve always wanted to meet her. She was a queen.”

As for how they first got together in 2007, Momoa said they were introduced through a mutual friend at a jazz club.

“We just happened to be in the right place at the right time,” Momoa explained. “I actually had dreaded my hair just for her. I had huge dreadlocks, she had dreadlocks, and I literally turned around and I see her and I’m just [in shock]. She’s like, ‘I’m Lisa.’ I turned around to my friend and I [pretended to scream].”

“I had f**king fireworks going off inside, man,” he continued. “I convinced her to take me home, because I was living in a hotel.” Eventually, the two stopped at a cafe. “We sat down. She ordered a Guinness—and that was it. We had Guinness and grits, and the rest is history.”
