Gary Oldman is a newly married man.
According to the Associated Press, the Hollywood veteran, who tied the knot with art curator Gisele Schmidt back in August, confirmed his marital status in a recent interview, revealing he had wed “quietly.”
The wedding, which took place at the home of his manager and friend Doug Urbanksi, marks the fifth marriage for Oldman.
According to Urbanksi, Oldman and Schmidt have known each other for four or five years and wed in the company of several dozen friends.
Oldman finalized his last divorce from fourth wife Alexandra Edenborough in 2015. The British actor was also previously married to actress Lesley Manville, with whom he shares a son, Alfie; he split from Uma Thurman in 1992 after two years of marriage.
Oldman’s latest role as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour” has generated Oscar buzz as awards season begins in Hollywood.
