“Thor: Ragnarok” continues to dominate the North American box office, with the movie bringing in a whopping $56.6 million at 4,080 locations in its second weekend and a total of $211.6 million in its 10-day release.

The movie already passed $500 million worldwide earlier this week and Deadline claim the much-talked about film has now raked in $650.1 million so far.

This means the Disney-Marvel film’s success marks the 29th highest second weekend of all time and the fifth best of 2017.

According to Variety, the movie took in almost the combined total of new releases “Daddy’s Home 2” ($30 million) and “Murder on the Orient Express” ($28.2 million).

“Thor: Ragnarok” – which stars Chris Hemsworth and was directed by Taika Waititi – bagged $122.7 million in its opening weekend and is already the ninth highest domestic grosser of 2017.

The news comes after Hemsworth, 34, spoke out about stripping off for shirtless scenes in the movie.

The Aussie actor told SiriusXM that he’d read an early version of the script, and realized with relief, “Oh great, no shirt-off scene! I don’t have to do that program.”

Director Waititi then said at the time, according to the actor: “Yeah, it’s gratuitous, we don’t need to do it.”

However, this didn’t last, with Hemsworth going on to explain: “A few weeks later, he’s like, “No, we need to do it. Let’s get your gear off. Exploit yourself.'”

Waititi then quipped: “You kind of need to show it off. It’s a disservice to humanity to hide it… it’s a waste of pushups.”

“It’s so gratuitous. There are, like, eight [shirtless] shots in a row where there’s nothing happening in the story,” Waititi went on.

Hemsworth added: “To go from ‘we’re not doing a shirtless scene’ to that was, I feel incredibly exploited — but I’m OK.”

“Thor: Ragnarok” is now playing in theaters.
