Sarah Silverman Responds To Close Friend Louis C.K.’s Sexual Misconduct Scandal, Calls It ‘F**ked Up’

A longtime friend of Louis C.K., Sarah Silverman has finally addressed C.K.’s sexual misconduct scandal.

In an episode of her Hulu talk show, “I Love You, America” Silverman explains why it’s taken her so long to comment on C.K. after he was accused and admitted to sexual harassment of five different women.

“I’ve, of course, been asked to comment, and in full honesty, I really really really don’t want to. I wish I could sit this one out,” Silverman said.

“One of my best friends of over 25 years, Louis C.K., masturbated in front of women. He wielded his power with women in f**ked up ways, sometimes to the point where they left comedy entirely,” she continued.

But Silverman reveals that while she’s angry, she’s also sad for her friend, “I hope it’s okay if I am at once very angry for the women he wronged and the culture that enabled it, and also sad, because he’s my friend.”
