The stars of hit History channel show “Vikings” made a sick little boy’s dreams come true as they transformed him into King Ragnar for a day.

Members of the cast – including Canadian actor Alexander Ludwig and actress Katheryn Winnick – took to Instagram to share snaps and videos of 7-year-old Max, who’s got stage 4 cancer, dressed up as their fearless leader.

The actors and actresses filmed little Max, who is part of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie foundation, having the time of his life in Ireland, with him donning the entire “Vikings” outfit. He even had his hair and make-up done by the crew.

“Vikings” fans may have been waiting a while for season five, but the upcoming episodes are now just around the corner, with it kicking off with a two-part premiere on Wednesday, Nov. 29. at 9p.m. ET/PT.

Eight episodes will then air each Wednesday after that, with the second half of the season being scheduled to air in 2018.

The cast have been busy filming in Ireland, which is where they met little Max, for the upcoming sixth season.

It was reported in October that Winnick will go behind the camera to make her directorial debut with a season six episode.

“It has been my pleasure and my privilege to work with History and our partner MGM over five seasons and 69 episodes of ‘Vikings.’ Now we are ready to begin production of a 20 episode season six that will deliver a huge and unexpected revelation to our audience,” said Michael Hirst, the show’s creator and executive producer.

“There are many reasons why I love this show, not least for the commitment and creativity of everyone involved in making it, but perhaps even more important is the spirit that drives this production — one of the happiest, most collaborative and most authentic productions I have ever been involved with. And so we sail on.”
