Rita Ora thought she’d have a little fun with the judges on “The Voice: Germany” but it might have backfired.
The pop-singer belted out her single “Your Song” which got all four judges to turn their chairs. And even after seeing her face, none of them recognized Ora.
“I am a 26-year-old aspiring musician from London,” she introduced herself before a judge raved about her performance.
“It sounded almost like the original!” judge Mark Forster said.
Ora finally gave in and told the group it was really her, and they still didn’t believe it.
“Okay, you’re kidding us,” another judge, Yvonne Catterfeld, said. “Are you a double?”
“No I’m not a double,” Ora responded. “It’s really me.”
