A rep for Jennie Garth confirms to ET Canada that she and her husband, Dave Abrams, are taking some time apart to work on their marriage.
The pair, who tied the knot at Garth’s Los Olivos, Calif. ranch home back in July 2015, have not legally separated or filed any legal paperwork.
A source told Us Weekly that the “Beverly Hills, 90210″ actress, 45, and her actor-producer other half, 36, are “still trying to make it work, but they haven’t been living together.”
“They love each other, but like every marriage, it takes work. Jennie is taking the time to focus on her girls and herself,” they added.
Garth has three daughters, Luca, 20, Lola, 14 and Fiona, 11, with ex-husband Peter Facinelli – they split in 2012 after 11 years of marriage.
Facinelli, 43, previously spoke of the pair’s marriage ending, saying Garth would always be in his life.
He explained on “Live With Kelly” back in 2012: “It’s very painful to break-up with somebody, especially after you’ve been together for 17 years and have kids.”
Facinelli added at the time, “Jen and I are doing really well and she’ll always be in my life, and I love her, and we’re just going to have a different relationship. We’re very dedicated to being great parents.”
Garth took to Instagram amid the rumours about her marriage to share a cryptic message about resilience.
The post included, “Resilience allows us to overcome and bounce back from heartache stronger and more flexible than before.”
