A new housekeeper will be helping around the castle, with Us Weekly confirming that Prince William and Princess Kate have hired some royal help.
Sadie Rice, 33, has been named to the position, having previously worked in a similar capacity for the family of Crown Prince Haakon of Norway.

According to Us Weekly, Rice’s duties “will include running the house, being in charge of household supplies, preparing and cooking meals, taking care of William and Kate’s wardrobes, caring for the family’s dog Lupo, and helping nanny Maria with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.”;

As you’d expect, this isn’t your typical housekeeping job. The employment listing pointed out that “discretion and loyalty is paramount,”; and listed such duties as “cleaning silverware and glassware.”; Rice reportedly landed the job after three rounds of interviews, one of them with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
This won’t be British-born Rice’s first time working for the Royal Family; she previously worked as a maid in Buckingham palace.
