Kate Middleton Shows Off Adventurous Side, Off-Roading With Prince William

By Becca Longmire.

Kate Middleton and Prince William showcased their adventurous sides today as they got behind the wheel to do some off-road driving.

Middleton, 35, is due to give birth to the couple’s third child in April, but for the time being her schedule is as jam-packed as ever.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met up with a mountain rescue team in Birmingham, England, on Wednesday, trying out some of the vehicles for themselves.

The teams were training in Land Rovers and the royals were seen driving over rocky hills.

William, who worked as a search and rescue pilot in the Royal Air Force throughout the first years of his marriage to Kate, is a key supporter of the mountain rescue organizations.

Kensington Palace took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to announce the Duke and Duchess “had both made it safely round the course.”

The royal couple also visited Acme Whistles factory in Birmingham where it clearly got loud.

Kate and William are set to welcome a brother or sister for 2-year-old Princess Charlotte and Prince George, 4, next spring.

The couple first announced the baby news in September, after the Duchess cancelled an event due to her suffering from severe morning sickness, hyperemesis gravidarum again as she did in her previous pregnancies.
