Alexander Skarsgard Injured While Filming In Montreal, Shares Gruesome Pic Of Sliced Hand

Alexander Skarsgard is currently in Montreal filming “The Hummingbird Project”, the upcoming big-screen drama in which he stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Salma Hayek.

On Thursday, the Swedish “Big Little Lies” star suffered an unexplained mishap that sent him straight to a Quebec ER with a nasty cut on the palm of his left hand, and he shared a grisly photo of his injured hand on Instagram.

In the post, Skarsgard’s hand has a large cut running diagonally through the entire width of his palm, and he offered thanks to the medical staff who treated him by stitching up the wound.

“Today I give thanks to nurse Rosalie and doctor Taleb at the local hospital in Lachute, Quebec. Their swift and heroic action saved my life,” writes Skarsgard, 41, adding the hashtag: “Snitches get stitches.”

Skarsgard has been getting out and about while filming in Montreal. Last week, he shared an Instagram photo of a building decorated with a mural honouring late Montreal icon Leonard Cohen.
