Bruno Mars was the big winner at the 2017 BET Soul Train Music Awards on Sunday night.

The 32-year-old singer came away with five awards, including Best Soul Male Artist and Video of the Year for his song “24K Magic”.

Mars had been nominated for six awards at the 30th annual award show, hosted by Erykah Badu. Solange Knowles, who entered the evening with seven nominations, took away one win for songwriting.

Other winners included singer SZA, who took home Best New Artist and Best Soul Female Artist, as well as Cardi B for Song of the Year and DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller for Best Collaboration.

The night also featured two big honorary awards, with SWV receiving the Lady of Soul Award, and Toni Braxton picking up the Don Cornelius Legend Award.

Ro James, Jessie J and Luke James performed a tribute to 50-year-old Braxton by singing a medley of her hit songs “Seven Whole Days”, “You Mean the World to Me” and “Un-Break My Heart”.

Braxton then took the stage herself to perform her songs “He Wasn’t Man Enough for Me”, “You’re Making Me High” and “Love Shoulda Brought You Home”.
