Canadian comedian Tommy Chong is once again finding himself battling cancer.
The 77-year-old performer best known for his work as half of Cheech & Chong revealed this development when speaking with Us Weekly. Chong was previously diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2012.
“I’ve had some medical issues lately,”; he told the publication. “I got diagnosed with rectal cancer.”;
The Up In Smoke star says he’s included pot in his recovery process.
“I’m using cannabis like crazy now, more so than ever before,”; explained Chong. “I’m in treatment now. I’ve been — just the case either way, either I get healed or I don’t. But either way, I’m going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up.”;
Chong also used the drug for relief in his first bout with cancer.
