With royal wedding fever in full swing, bride-to-be Meghan Markle’s family is weighing in on the exciting news.

In a new interview with “Good Morning Britain,” Markle’s older sister, Samantha, says the American actress is “overwhelmingly happy” following her engagement to Prince Harry.

She does note, however, that the couple’s relationship is about love, not royalty.

“It’s lovely, but I have to say I think what’s more important to our family, and certainly to her, is that you find the person that’s the best fit for you, that you love, that really makes you happy,” says Samantha, who has been estranged from her sister for years. “I don’t think it’s so much who he is in terms of royalty as who he is as a man. I can see she’s just bubbling. It’s so charming and so warm.”

Meanwhile, Kensington Palace announced Tuesday that the nuptials will take place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, with the ceremony set for May 2018.
