The cast of “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” have a lot to get off their chests in a short amount of time.
Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan fire off some much-needed information about their upcoming movie in just 90 seconds.
Every actor approaches the challenge a different way. “The Rock” shows stone cold composure, while Jack Black is supremely animated.
Gillan – a former “Doctor Who” lead – frantically packs in as many words as she can in one breath and Hart is all over the place.
Early reviews for “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” have been quite pleasant! Although the first film wasn’t revered by critics, the original “Jumanji” amassed an impressive cult following and fans have high expectations for its successor.
Fortunately, critics seem to be impressed by the upcoming holiday movie.
Rob Keys of Screen Rant applauded the cast for their “pretty special chemistry.”
While Kate Erbland of IndieWire labelled it as a perfect family holiday film.
And if Film Journal International‘s Rebecca Pahle is to be believed, Black’s performance deserves a whole suite of Academy Awards.
“Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” swings into theatres Dec. 20.
