Sterling K. Brown may have just nabbed his next role.

The 41-year-old actor is Aaron Sorkin’s choice to play the president in a “West Wing” reboot — for which Sorkin reportedly has a standing offer from NBC — and Brown has gladly accepted the nomination.

“[My dream reboot would include] Sterling K. Brown as the president, and there’s some kind of jam, an emergency, a very delicate situation involving the threat of war or something, and [President] Bartlet [played by Martin Sheen], long since retired, is consulted in the way that Bill Clinton used to consult with Nixon,” Sorkin said in an interview published on Wednesday.

Brown quickly took to Twitter to reply to to Sorkin’s kind-of-offer, writing, “#AaronSorkin if you are serious, sir, I would be honoured!”

In the mean time, however, the actor is plenty busy starring in the upcoming “Black Panther” film and, of course, on NBC’s hit drama “This Is Us”. See what he has to say about Randall’s storyline this season in the video below.
