The “lady”; in Lady Antebellum might very well be lead singer Hillary Scott’s 23-month-old daughter, Eisele.
Tagging along with the country band on their Wheels Up tour, Eisele has become an honourary member of Lady A, even if she may not know what they’re all about.
“I don’t think she has a clue, and I love it,”; says Hillary. “The only thing she does correlate is she’ll go, “Mama. Sing. Stage.’ Those are the kind of words she’ll circle through.”;
She may not get just how successful her mom’s band is, but Eisele seems to be picking up on the actual music part of things. After all, not only is her mom a musician, so is her dad, Chris Tyrrell, who plays drums in Lady A’s backing band.
“She actually jumped up on the drums after soundcheck a couple of weeks ago,”; Hillary recalls, “and her daddy was showing her how to hit things with the drumsticks.”;
“She probably thinks every mom and dad go perform on stage,”; adds Hillary’s bandmate, Charles Kelley.
But Hillary isn’t the only parent in the band. Dave Haywood has a 9-month-old son.
“Fatherhood in general just blows your mind,”; says Dave. “You look at the world totally differently.”;
Tune in tonight for more with the band on ET Canada.
