Chris Pratt’s abs regularly get people talking and on Tuesday that was certainly the case, as he appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” alongside “Jurassic World” co-star Bryce Dallas Howard.
The pair chatted to DeGeneres to promote the sequel “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, despite the movie not hitting theatre screens until June 2018.
Speaking of working together on promo tours, Dallas Howard gushed: “It’s really fun because Chris is the most entertaining person I’ve ever met, so getting to do interviews with him is awesome.
“But there’s also this weird thing that happens that, as a woman you’re [used to] all of the annoying questions like, ‘What was your diet?’ and ‘What was your fitness routine?’ But, when I’m doing an interview with Chris, he just basically gets harassed about that stuff.”
Pratt replied, “Yeah, I was going to say, ‘I get those questions all the time,'” as Dallas Howard went on: “At the beginning it was really refreshing, but then when it got to the fifth or sixth time, it’s like, ‘His body is not a commodity!’ He’s a human being with thoughts, ideas, dreams, and goals. Don’t just talk about his abs!”
Clearly not bothered by the discussion in the slightest, Pratt then shared, “I understand how people can be annoyed by that, but I feel like at least a third of my job is just being a prop. I’m a puppet,” as DeGeneres interjected: “A very good-looking puppet… and smart!”
The duo, who play Claire Dearing and Owen Grady in the upcoming flick, also spoke about their children, Jack and Beatrice, being the best of friends.
Pratt added of his five-year-old son, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris: “Jack doesn’t really care that I’m an actor, but when I brought him on set and he was able to climb on top of an animatronic T-rex he was like, ‘Okay dad, I’ll give in. This is pretty cool.'”
“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” hits theatres on June 22, 2018.
