The first trailer for the sequel to “Jurassic World” has arrived with a mighty roar, featuring the return of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and a whole lot of sharp-toothed dinosaurs.
While a brief teaser was unveiled last week, Thursday saw the first full-length trailer for drop for “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”.
In the new trailer, fans got to see a familiar face from the franchise: Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm, who is seen testifying at a government hearing that is seemingly trying to determine what to do with all the dinosaurs roaming free on the island following the events of “Jurassic World”.
Meanwhile, an active volcano on the island is ready to erupt, which would lead to a second dinosaur extinction on planet Earth unless action is taken.
As a result, Pratt’s character, Owen Grady, leads a rescue mission to save his lead raptor, Blue, which becomes problematic when he and Claire (Howard) wind up stumbling upon a vast conspiracy that could threaten all of humanity.
“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” hits theatres on June 22, 2018.
