A rehearsal for Criss Angel’s “Supernaturalists”; stage show went horribly wrong when an escape artist had to be dragged from a tank of water, apparently unconscious, after a trick didn’t go off as planned.
As Fox News reports, last night’s rehearsal at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut went south when escape artist Spencer Horsman found himself trapped in a tank full of water, suspended 30 feet above the stage.
As Horsman stops moving, apparently unconscious, Angel and members of the crew frantically struggled to pull him from the tank, while someone filmed the incident (which has since been posted on YouTube).
“Get him down!”; someone can be heard yelling, as Angel himself races onstage and climbs the chains suspending the tank in an effort to free Horsman.
Horsman (who came to fame as a contestant on America’s Got Talent) is reportedly recovering; following the incident, Angel has rescheduled two performances.
“In an effort to ensure the safety of the cast and crew, we will be moving the opening night of Supernaturalists to June 26th,”; Angel said in a statement.
