‘America’s Next Top Model’ is returning in January, and so is former host Tyra Banks!
The announcement was made earlier this year, and VH1 made it official in a press release on Thursday, trumpeting that the entrepreneur/supermodel will return to host the show when it kicks off its 24th cycle in January. Banks, who is also the show’s co-creator and exec producer, sat out cycle 23, handing the hosting reins to Rita Ora.
In addition to promising “more contestant diversity than ever before,” this season will feature a big twist that viewers have never seen on the show before: no age limit.
As if that’s not enough to get fans’ hearts racing, the 24th cycle will also feature a special crossover with “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, featuring fan-favourites Valentina, Katya and Manila.
This season will also include guest appearances by former judge Nigel Barker and season-three winner Eva Marcille, along with Director X, beauty and social media guru Patrick Starr, choreographer Jermaine Browne, supermodel Jourdan Dunn and Hip Hop artist Maejor and more.
As previously announced, supermodel and body activist Ashley Graham, Paper Magazine Chief Creative Officer Drew Elliott and celebrity stylist and image architect Law Roach will all return as judges.
“America’s Next Top Model” kicks off its stylish new season on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
