Forbes has released its annual list of the 2015’s “Highest Paid Superstars,”; with musical acts One Direction, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry among the year’s top earners.
Topping the list: boxer Floyd Mayweather, who raked in $300 million thanks in large part to the massive purse from his heavily hyped fight with Manny Pacquiao (who came in at #2, earning a whopping $160 million even though he lost the fight).
Coming in a third place is Katy Perry, who took in $135 million, mainly due to revenue from her Prismatic World Tour.
One Direction landed at #4 with $130 million, while radio icon/America’s Got Talent judge brought in $95 million.
Rounding out the top 10 are:
6. Garth Brooks: $90 million
7. Author James Patterson: $89 million
8. Taylor Swift and Robert Downey, Jr. (tied with $80 mil apiece)
10. Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo ($79.5 million)
Other celebs to make this year’s list include Ellen DeGeneres, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian and Tom Cruise, while the final spot in the top 100 is a six-way tie between Sofia Vergara, Kevin Hart, Kaley Cuoco, Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Lopez and Blake Shelton, each of whom earned $28.5 million.
