Blindfolded Mario Lopez and Luke Bryan, who were on harnesses dangling from the ceiling, battled it out in a game of “You Bet Your Wife” on Wednesday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
Lopez was joined by wife Courtney on the show, while DeGeneres played alongside Bryan as his other half.
There looked to be a clear winner from the get-go, as Lopez struggled to name “the things that you inhale,” before DeGeneres was forced to drop him towards the mat below.
Despite Lopez correctly naming the amount of classic country music stars his wife thought he could come up with, Bryan was crowned the winner after powering through the “things he found scary” while the clock counted down the seconds.
This was the first celebrity edition of the popular game, which DeGeneres often plays with audience members. It will also feature on her upcoming NBC game show, “Ellen’s Game of Games”.
During Wednesday’s show, Lopez also chatted to DeGeneres about the horrific Los Angeles wildfires.
DeGeneres explained, “Our house is there right now, but no one can get in to check on it. We basically had to just get out and leave the gates open for the fire trucks.”
Telling Lopez “I’m going to come over for Christmas I think,” DeGeneres went on to say, “You should never take anything for granted because life is fragile,” as the Extra host insisted: “You’re always welcome at Casa Lopez.”
