CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper took to Twitter to insist he’d been hacked after a message sent from his account called Donald Trump a “pathetic loser.”

Cooper, 50, posted Wednesday morning that he’d woken up to find out someone had been replying to tweets.

The message in question — now deleted — was a response to a tweet posted by the president about the Alabama Senate race.

Trump shared a message about originally endorsing Luther Strange because Roy Moore “might not be able to win the General Election,” to which Cooper’s account replied: “Oh Really? You endorsed him you tool! Pathetic loser.”

After Cooper tweeted to say he’d been hacked, CNN’s PR team, CNN Communications, also posted:
