On Wednesday, Russell Simmons issued a statement denying the allegations of three women who claim he raped them after the women came forward to tell their stories in the New York Times.

“I vehemently deny all these allegations,” said Simmons in his statement. “These horrific accusations have shocked me to my core and all of my relations have been consensual.”

The rap impresario’s denial, however, did not sit well with Kelly Cutrone, the fashion publicist and TV personality who has appeared on such series as “The Hills” and “America’s Next Top Model”.

That’s because, alleges Cutrone, Simmons tried to rape her when she was 26, and detailed her accusations to the New York Post‘s “Page Six” column.

As Cutrone tells the Post, when she saw Simmons’ denials on Instagram, along with his attempt to use the #NotMe hashtag to counter the #MeToo movement, Cutrone says she could no longer stay silent.

“The #NotMe thing?” says Cutrone. ” I’m going to do a #YeahYou. F**k you.”

Cutrone alleges that she bumped into Simmons at a party back in 1991, when she was just 26, stating that Simmons invited her to his apartment. When she turned him down, he asked her to drive with him to drop in at a friend’s home. She says she agreed, but thinks they wound up at Simmons’ apartment instead.

“He pushed me into his apartment and then he threw me down on the floor and literally tried to grab … take my clothes off of me,” Cutrone says. “And I started kicking him really, really hard, screaming, telling him to get the f**k off of me. And that I would have him killed if he ever f**king laid a hand on me.” She added, “I actually think I told him I would call ‘Page Six’! I was a publicist! I think I told him I would call ‘Page Six’ and have him murdered.”

Cutrone recalls running out of the apartment. “[Simmons] was just really shaken up and I f**king split. I remember running out the door and getting a cab and all I remember was that I got in a cab and I remember a feeling — which was so crazy — of, ‘Oh my god. Somebody just tried to rape me. What do I do?’ And then the energy of going to the police and pressing charges against him was overwhelming to me.”

She adds: “Then what would happen afterward — and this would happen years afterward — I’d be at a table and Russell f**king Simmons would come up to the table and then people would be like, ‘Kelly, do you know Russell?,’ and I’d be like, ‘Yes, I know Russell — he tried to rape me.’”

Cutrone has some harsh words for Simmons and others who have been accused of sexual misconduct. “All these guys have been doing is, like, go, like, ‘Hey, I’m really, really sorry and I’m going to step away from my business,’” says Cutrone. “But you know what, a lot of these women have to go to work everyday because they have to pay bills and they haven’t made $100 million.”

She also references Simmons’ passion for yoga: “I hope he chokes on his om pendant.”

Meanwhile, on Thursday night ET reported that the NYPD has launched a preliminary investigation of the accusations made against Simmons.

“The NYPD has received information regarding allegations involving Russell Simmons in the NYC area and our detectives are in the process of reviewing that information,” remarked Sgt. Brendan Ryan in a statement to ET.

A spokesperson for Simmons tells ET that “Russell Simmons fully supports and will cooperate with the police inquiry and is confident of a swift resolution.”
