Eminem celebrated the release of his ninth studio album Revival by treating fans to a mini-concert at the BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale studios.
The 45-year-old was joined by Skylar Grey and Mr. Porter to belt out the likes of “Love The Way You Lie,” “Berzerk” and “Won’t Back Down” on Annie Mac’s show, with Grey singing the parts of Rihanna and Pink.
Eminem released Revival Friday to mixed reviews, with some not being so fond of the pop collaborations with the likes of Pink and Ed Sheeran, both appearing on the LP.
However, the rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, recently insisted he set out to make something different that would cater to everyone.
He told Interview magazine while chatting with Elton John, “I’ve been working on it for over a year. You know how it is — you make songs, and as you make the new ones, the old ones get old and you throw them out.
“The album is called Revival. It’s a reflection of where I’m at right now, but also I feel like what I tried to do was diversify. I’ve tried to make a little something for everyone.”
