Rose McGowan Slams ‘Hypocrisy’ Of Meryl Streep And Silent Protesters Of Sexual Assault

Rose McGowan continues to rage a loud war against sexual assault and those who she believes enable such behaviour.

In a new Twitter rant on Saturday, McGowan took aim at actresses like Meryl Streep who plan on wearing black to the 2018 Golden Globe Awards as a silent protest against sexual misconduct.

“Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black [to the] Golden Globes in a silent protest,” tweeted McGowan. “Your silence is the problem!”

The “Charmed” actress continued, “You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly and affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy.”

This isn’t the first time McGowan, 44, has attacked Streep on Twitter. Earlier this month, the actress blasted Streep over comments she made about Weinstein and also called out Alyssa Milano.

McGowan has been among the most vocal alleged victims of Weinstein.
