Canada’s Shawn Mendes has a lot of love for South Korea’s BTS.
The “Stitches” singer talked about meeting the internationally beloved boy band backstage at the American Music Awards in November.

“They were so sweet,” he said in an interview published by YouTube channel Yoongified 93. “They were probably the most beautiful guys I’ve ever seen in my life. Truly, I didn’t know humans existed that beautiful.”
Mendes, 19, also praised the band’s stellar live performance. “Their performance was insane, and I watched the video back like a hundred times,” confessed Mendes. “It almost feels like a movie that they would shoot a million times to get perfect is what they did live, and so I think they’re incredible.”

And the Canadian teen hearthrob is totally open to collaborate with BTS. “I would love to, I think that’d be amazing,” he said.
Mendes has previously been linked to a teased collaboration with former One Direction singer Niall Horan.
