“The Real Slim Shady” originally planned on having Adele sing the chorus of his lead single off the rapper’s ninth studio album “Revival”. The feature ultimately went to Beyonce.

The news was revealed by frequent Eminem collaborator Mr. Porter. Porter, 39, performed alongside Eminem — under the moniker Kon Artis — in the hip hop group D12.

Porter said, in an interview with ThisIs50, “something happened with her [Adele] and her voice so she couldn’t do it.” Adding, “There’s only a couple people that could pull that off.”
